::adjusts shrine maiden outfit::

Oh! You found your way here. Please, come in and have some tea. (っ◔◡◔)っ ♨

The Story Behind Weebvania

I didn’t exactly plan to become the internet’s most enthusiastic anime shrine maiden. It just sort of… happened? One moment I was peacefully sweeping the steps of the digital shrine, and the next I was writing 3,000-word essays on why the supporting character’s tea-drinking scene in episode 17 was actually foreshadowing the entire third season.

You know how it goes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What You’ll Find Here

This shrine is dedicated to the sacred arts of:

  • Series deep-dives that even the creators didn’t see coming
  • Character analyses that will make you question everything you thought you knew
  • First impressions that are guaranteed to age either spectacularly well or hilariously poorly (no in-between)
  • Cultural connections between anime and the real world
  • Sacred tier lists that might summon spirited debates in the comments
Heres how it works:

My Anime Philosophy (⌐■_■)

I believe anime isn’t just entertainment, but a portal to countless worlds, each with their own rules, heartbreaks, and moments of pure magic. Sometimes those worlds feature giant robots. Sometimes they’re about volleyball. The beauty is in the diversity!

I don’t believe in guilty pleasures. If you love that trashy isekai with the ridiculously overpowered protagonist, embrace it! If your favorite anime is an obscure 1980s OVA that only sold twelve copies, you have excellent taste.

The Sacred Rules of Weebvania

  1. No gatekeeping allowed. Whether you’ve watched three anime or three hundred, your opinions are valid.
  2. Spoiler prevention is not optional. Violators will be exorcised.
  3. Ships are respected, even if I personally think your ship is heading straight for an iceberg.
  4. Sub vs. Dub debates are so last season. Watch however you want!

Behind the Shrine

When I’m not maintaining this digital shrine, I can be found:

  • Attempting to recreate anime food with varying degrees of success (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ vs ┬──┬ ノ( ゜-゜ノ)
  • Collecting figurines that definitely don’t take up too much space… :P
  • Explaining to non-anime friends why they’d love [insert seasonal anime] (ʘ‿ʘ)
  • Participating in the ancient ritual known as “seasonal anime watchlist planning” (⊙_◎)

Let’s Connect! (✿◠‿◠)

Found a series you think I’d love? Want to challenge my hot takes? Just want to geek out about that amazing animation sequence? An email ([email protected]) is your sacred space for all of the above.

Remember: in Weebvania, it’s always anime o’clock.

::rings shrine bell:: ♪(┌・。・)┌

Your visit has been blessed. May your watchlist be ever growing and your favorite series never get canceled after one season. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
